Dining Outlets Frequently Asked Questions

We are licensed to serve food and drinks in our outlets.
At the Clubhouse, Sundowner bar and poolside, Beach Club and Bar you may not bring and consume your own food and drinks.
Our villas are self-catered and you can may bring food and drinks to consume at the villa or villa poolside, only if in residence at a villa. You must respect the fellow guests and remove all litter. No glass is permitted in the pools in the Sundowner or the villa pools.

At Vipingo Ridge we have a number of diverse dining venues. Each has a different menu and often we have specials.

When there’s a special brunch or event we’ll communicate this in the What’s on section.

Introducing our bar and restaurant venues:

The Clubhouse: Located within the main resort, the Clubhouse restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can enjoy a variety of dishes while taking in breathtaking views of the golf course and natural surroundings.

The Sundowner Bar: A 2 minute walk from the Clubhouse, the Sundowner is a relaxed and laid-back poolside venue and sports bar.

Open for lunch and dinner, enjoy delicious pizza, while taking advantage of activities such as swimming, playing snooker, pool, darts, and more.

The Beach Club: Our Beach Club is a waterfront paradise, offering a unique seafood dining experience right on the sand.

In addition to exceptional seafood dishes, the Beach Club is the site of a Marine Conservation site with fantastic snorkelling and reef walks. We also have a watersports centre, allowing you to engage in thrilling water activities, with a chilled drink.

We have extended opening hours during half term and school holidays.

Clubhouse is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Between the main food service hours a bar menu is available.

Clubhouse: 8:00am - 10:00pm (Daily)

Breakfast: 8:00am - 10:00am

Lunch: 12:00pm - 2:30pm

Dinner: 6:00pm - 9:00pm

We offer a flexible closing times in all our restaurants and bars. The chefs will endeavour to adapt to our guest requirements and if you wish to continue enjoying the service after the closing time above. Our team will be flexible to your requirements and make your evening as comfortable as possible.

Join us at the Sundowner Bar for pizza, chilled drinks poolside and a relaxing atmosphere in the evenings.

The Vipingo Ridge Beach Club is an idyllic sea front restaurant and bar. White sands and access to the ocean, order a chilled drink, relax and enjoy the breeze.

We serve coffee in the mornings (from 10:00am to midday), for those early beach walkers or those wishing to take on the morning water sport tides.

Beach Club: 10:00am - 7:00pm (Daily)

Lunch + Dinner: 12:00pm - 7:00pm

Regarding the dress code for our restaurants, we maintain a very relaxed dress code policy for all of our dining outlets.

We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your dining experience without the need for formal attire.

Clubhouse is a members space and therefore appropriate attire for this location would be appreciated.

The Sundowner and Beach Club, are casual and comfortable sports and beach wear.

Please savour the flavours of the Kenyan coast in a laid-back and enjoyable atmosphere.

Our Clubhouse, Sundowner and Beach Club can be booked on an exclusive basis for private functions.

In addition to our restaurants, we offer versatile event spaces for special occasions and gatherings of various sizes.

You can host events on the Clubhouse Rooftop or the Beach Terrace, both of which provide stunning views and a memorable backdrop for your celebrations.

We also offer events packages for vistas across Vipingo Ridge, so whether you’d like a view of the golf course or the wildlife sanctuary we can bring your special occasion to life.
