As we step into the heart of 2025, the months of July, August, and September promise an exciting lineup of entertainment, sports, family fun, and community engagement. Vingo Ridge is thrilled to announce a vibrant calendar that ensures there’s something for everyone: from music lovers and golf enthusiasts to wellness seekers and families looking for quality time.

Vipingo Ridge Unveils Vibrant July-September 2025 Events Calendar

Alongside our weekly activities programme, which includes yoga and zumba classes twice a week, Monday Ladies mix-in golf, Wednesday Clubnite and Friday Roll up for the golfers, and Monday Beginners Golf Classes. We also have our Social Clubs (Tennis, Padel and Boule) on Wednesday and Saturdays, Electric cycling and Ranger walks each week, and food specials at our Outlets.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s from 9::00-12:00 we have Kids Clubs, 3 hours of entertainment for the children, with a teacher and a fun group of instructors. We also host a double movie night evening at the Sundowner, with popcorn, every Friday too. The Kids Movie is at 6:30PM and teenagers and above from 8:30PM.

We are also launching a new programme of special events this holiday season for Members to enjoy.

If you’re not a Member but would like to join us, Beach Club events are open to the Public and we have special accommodation offers so you can stay in the Resort and experience the fun.

JULY: A Month of Music, Theatre, and Tee-Offs

The rhythm of July kicks off with a musical showcase as the Nyali Singers Present ‘License to Thrill’ on Saturday, 5th July at 7:00 PM at The Hub. Guests will be treated to a captivating night of music and theatrical brilliance, supporting a local group of performers.

Midweek entertainment continues with the Kivukoni School Play, set for Wednesday, 9th July at 6:30 PM at The Sundowner. Attendees will support a student musical performance titled Blood Brothers, showcasing young talent and community spirit.

Golfers will not miss out either. On Saturday, 12th July, the Tombstone Mid-Month Golf Competition arrives with a fun 9-hole format, welcoming all skill levels. You will tee off and have 72 shots each. Where you finish on the course is your position in the competition (your tomb is laid on the finish point of the 72nd shot). There’s fun drinking and ambiance to support this popular format.

Tennis fans can gather at the Pool Gardens on Sunday, 13th July, to watch the Wimbledon Final while sipping on Pimms, and of course the courts are open daily, with the Tennis Club gathering every Wednesday and Saturday at 3:00PM.

July rounds off with a double dose of action: The Monthly Mug and Medal Golf Competition on Saturday, 26th July, and a musical feast as the Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra and Conservatoire Choir, visiting the Kenya Coast from Nairobi, performs from 2:30 PM the same day. This performance will be at the Shariani Hall, our air-conditioned conference room. Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase too.


AUGUST: Fitness, Fun, and Coastal Flair

August opens under the stars with the Full Moon Beach Bonfire and BBQ on Sunday, 10th August at The Beach Club a perfect setting to enjoy fire, food, and friends.

Competitive spirits rise with the Ladies Coast Open Golf Competition on Tuesday, 6th August Mark your calendars for Saturday, 9th August, for the Mid-Month Waltz Golf Competition (18 holes of friendly challenge). Saturday, 16th August is a power-packed day: start your morning at The Academy with a Skills Session led by PGA Pro David Marsh.

Cycling die-hards will enjoythe Loop Safari Gravel Cycling Tour on Saturday, 23rd August at The Moto Track, drawing hundreds of riders across coastal trails.

Wrap up the month at the Cultural and WellnessMarket from Friday, 29th to Sunday, 31st August at the Beach Club, celebrating Pan-African creativity, health, and culture.


SEPTEMBER: Youth, Skills, and Sportsmanship

September ignites with another Full Moon Beach Bonfire on Sunday, 7th September at The Beach Club. Golfers get one more shot at glory in the Seniors Golf Competition the same day at The Clubhouse, featuring an 18-hole showdown followed by lunch.

The Saturday Skills Session continues on 13th September, offering expert coaching with David Marsh at The Academy. Finally, bring the family to cheer on rising stars at the US Kids Junior Golf Tournament on Sunday, 14th September a perfect way to close the season on note.
